Life’s Too Short
I am the youngest of 4 children. When I was born my siblings were 8, 10 and 16 … so there was a big gap before I came along! That led to a lot of speculation and healthy banter in the family that I was an ‘accident’ or possibly a late ‘mistake’, much to my mother’s annoyance! Of course neither was true as she went to great lengths to explain in the way that only a loving Mum can.
The Bible makes it clear that God put each of us on this planet purposefully – there are no accidents! We were born at the right time and in the right place; our job is simply to make the most of the seemingly short life we have – which is not as easy as it sounds. Our aim is to fulfil the purpose God created us for because when we meet him, He will ask us what we did with it.
And doesn’t time fly? Life gets shorter and shorter as we age. So, this message I preached recently is an inspiration and a challenge to take stock and focus your life on the right things.
Have a listen and share it with your friends… Life’s too short not to…!
